What you will be doing
Lead the realization of applied geophysics projects involving passive seismic interferometry acquisition, data analysis and interpretation, and to participate in R&D activities along with Geolinks research team.
- Carry out commercial projects in close relationship with our clients and partners.
- Projects may require travelling in France or abroad, for a short period of time.
Your Responsibilities
- Process field data using the FlowTerra Geolinks data processing software and codes.
- Participate to project meetings, prepare, and perform technical presentations for clients or partners.
- Assist field operations and perform field acquisition campaigns.
- Perform research and software development activities, mostly in the field of passive seismic interferometry.
Qualifications
- Organized and self-reliant
- PhD or master’s degree in a field of geophysics or signal processing or acoustics or applied mathematics.
- Experience in seismic interferometry is an advantage.
- Appetence for coordinating projects and communicating results with clients and partners.
- Appetence for research applied to industrial issues.
- Autonomous programming, mostly Python. Fortran, Matlab also useful.
- Professional English (read, written, spoken).
