What you will be doing

Carry out numerical research projects within the R&D department in collaboration with other
researchers and engineers from Geolinks and external partners. Specific missions or projects will require to travel in France and abroad, for a short period of time, generally less than a month.


Your Responsibilities

  • Implementation of inverse methods to measure and spatialize seismic noise interferometry attributes.
  • Development of multi-physics joint inversion approaches.

Qualifications

  • Organized and self-reliant.
  • PhD in a field of geophysics or signal processing or acoustics or applied mathematics.
  • Experience in geophysical inversion is required.
  • Experience in wave propagation modeling is appreciated but not mandatory
  • Appetence for applied mathematics to solve geophysical problem.
  • Appetence for research applied to industrial issues.
  • Autonomous programming, mostly Python. Fortran, Matlab or any others languages also useful.
  • Autonomous on calculator and parallel computing.
  • Fluent English (read, written, spoken).
